The lovely little city of Robbinsdale (a.k.a BirdTown), Minnesota is a short 12 minute drive north west of Downtown Minneapolis with a wide range of restaurants and activities. With a population of ~14,000 residents, Robbinsdale offers a small-town but urban energy. 

Robbinsdale has something for everyone. From condos and townhomes to new build single family homes. The standard home here is going to be more affordable than the neighboring cities, Golden Valley, New Hope, and Crystal. The average sales price for homes in 2021 was $274,000.

  1.  There are numerous residential blocks that do not offer sidewalks, which can be dangerous if you are walking a pet or with a young child. 
  2. While the downtown has plenty of local shops, the city lacks larger shopping centers.
  3.  Homes tend to be smaller in square footage compared to neighboring cities, making it difficult for larger families.  
  4. The current contractor for trash and yard waste is inconsistent with weekly pick-ups. 
  5. There are limited major employers, so the majority of job availability is outside of the city limits.
